Doyle refurbishes wood stocks for BPSO honor guard

Jody Doyle, a 16-year-old Singer High School student, volunteered his time and effort to refurbish the wood stocks of eight of the Beauregard Parish Sheriffs Office Honor Guard rifles. Doyle was supervised by Singer High School Ag Teacher, Kent Palermo.

The eight rifle stocks were provided to Doyle with all metal parts removed and only empty stocks were handled.

Beauregard Parish Sheriff, Mark Herford, greatly appreciates Doyle’s attention to detail, hard work and willingness to support his community and the Beauregard Parish Sheriffs Office.

He is the grandson of Murline Doyle. His hobbies include auto mechanics, and woodworking.
