Margaret Ann Templin, 78, of DeQuincy died on Thursday, May 10, 2023 at her residence. She was born on Dec. 6, 1944 in Ford Community (Gary), Texas.
She is survived by her husband, John Templin; daughters, Kim Brantley of Starks, Kelly Templin of DeQuincy, and Karla Wood (Billy) of Fields; brother, James Pierce (Karen) of Kilgore, Texas; sister, Barbara Butler of Burleson, Texas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Odessa Pierce; and her grandson, Kaleb Brantley.
A celebration of life service was held at Pine Grove Baptist Church in DeQuincy on Saturday, May 13, with Bro. Jordan Doyle and Bro. John Andrews officiating. Burial followed at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of Hixson-Snider Funeral Home.
