Singer vs. South Beauregard

South Beauregard captures lead early to defeat Singer.

Singer fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 16-0 loss to South Beauregard on Monday. South Beauregard took the lead in the first inning.

The Hornets struggled to contain the high-powered offense of South Beauregard, giving up 16 runs.

South Beauregard got things moving in the first inning, when Clayton Folks led things off on the mound for South Beauregard. The ace allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Caston Perkins started the game for Singer. Perkins went three innings, allowing eight runs on five hits and striking out two. Kohlson Moore, Dylan Conner, and Kolten Royer each contributed in relief for Singer.

South Beauregard tallied nine hits. Luke Brister, Ethan Beebee, and Landon Sepulvado each managed multiple hits for South Beauregard.

Sepulvado led South Beauregard with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases. South Beauregard was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Luke Fontenot made the most plays in the field with five.

Singer vs. South Cameron

Singer 11, South Cameron 0.

With Kolten Royer on the mound, Singer shuts out South Cameron.

Kolten Royer threw a shutout to lead the Hornets past South Cameron 11-0 on Tuesday.

In the first inning, Singer got their offense started.

Singer tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Gunner Franks had an RBI wild pitch in the inning to lead the run scoring.

One bright spot for South Cameron was a single by Jayden Nunez in the first inning.

Royer led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Singer. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out six.

Clayton Nunez led things off on the mound for South Cameron. Nunez surrendered five runs on one hit over one and one-third innings. Miguel Castillo threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.

Singer socked one homerun on the day. Aiden Tompkins hit an in the park home run in the 3rd inning.

Dylan Conner led Singer with two hits in two at bats. Singer tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Cain Chambers led the way with three.

Singer vs. South Cameron

Singer claims blow-out victory over South Cameron, 11-1.

Singer coasted to an easy victory over South Cameron 11-1 on Thursday.

Singer pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the third Caston Perkins drew a walk, scoring one run and an error scored one run for Singer.

Singer notched five runs in the fifth inning. Singers offense in the inning came from a triple by Dylan Conner, a single by Perkins, single by Dawson Roebuck, and a double by Gavin Wright.

Perkins led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Singer. Perkins allowed one hit and one run over five innings, striking out seven.

Jayden Nunez led things off on the hill for South Cameron. The pitcher went four and two-thirds innings, allowing 11 runs on five hits and striking out five.

Singer tallied five hits in the game. Conner and Perkins each had two hits for Singer.

Nunez led South Cameron with one hit in three at bats.

Singer vs. Anacoco

Early lead for Anacoco seals fate for Singer.

Singer fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-4 loss to Anacoco on Friday. Anacoco took the lead in the first inning.

Singer lost despite out-hitting Anacoco eight to seven.

Anacoco opened up scoring in the first inning, when.

Anacoco scored three runs in the third inning. Reid Rodriguez and Kyle Scott powered the big inning with RBIs.

Caleb Taylor was on the hill for Anacoco. The pitcher allowed seven hits and two runs over six innings, striking out four.

Dylan Conner led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Singer. The hurler surrendered seven runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out four.

Singer collected eight hits. Caston Perkins and Gavin Wright each collected two hits for Singer Hornets Varsity.

Anacoco totaled seven hits in the game. Chase Taylor and Xzavier Matthews each had multiple hits for Anacoco.

Anacoco didn’t commit a single error in the field. Landon Goodwin had the most chances in the field with four.
