John Douglas White was born Jan. 13, 1963, and passed away Tuesday, Apr. 11, 2023, at the age of 60.
John worked at the Local 195 as a pipefitter and in his later years as a painter, He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being close to his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Hunter Douglas White and Taylor James White; wife, Summer White; sister, Mary Johnson and husband, Timothy; nieces and nephews, Jeremey, David, Jr., Nikole, Chelsea, Robert; along with numerous great nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verner and Mattie White; and brother, William David White, Sr. and wife, Debbie.
The family received friends from 12 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 16 until time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. at the VFW, 4402 Hwy 12, Starks.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
