Singer vs. Hackberry

Dylan Conner pitcher for Singer Shuts Out Hackberry.

Dylan Conner didn’t allow a single run against Hackberry, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Singer to a 6-0 victory on Thursday.

Singer fired up the offense in the first inning when Kolten Royer drove in one run when he singled on a hard hit ball.

Singer put up three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Aiden Tompkins, an error on a ball put in play by Gunner Franks, and a double by Conner.

Dylan Conner toed the rubber for Singer. The ace lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out 14.

Singer tallied eight hits in the game. Kolton Royer and Gavin Wright managed had two hits for Singer.

Singer vs. Grand Lake

Singer 0, Grand Lake 6 – Early lead for Grand Lake seals fate for Singer.

Singer fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to Grand Lake on Friday. Grand Lake scored on an error in the first inning, a single by Wyatt Istre in the second inning, and a single by Gavin Walker in the second inning.

Singer struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Grand Lake, giving up six runs.

Tanner Benoit toed the rubber for Grand Lake. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out six.

Kolten Royer was on the mound for Singer. The pitcher allowed six hits and six runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

Kohlson Moore threw one-third of an inning in relief.

Gavin Wright went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Singer in hits.

Gage Bang led Grand Lake with two hits in three at bats.
