Gale Lynn Neal was born Oct. 31, 1960 and passed away Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2023 at the age of 62.
She loved traveling, camping, being at home, and Christmas time. But most of all Gale loved her family, especially all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Rodney Neal; children, Jeremy Neal and wife, Nicole, Jenifer Fontenot and husband, Brent, Kelsie Nordberg and husband, Grant; grandchildren, Gabi, Zoe, Abigail, Austin, Jackson, Audrie, Jude, Emerson, Elliott; siblings, Cindy Frost and husband, Chris, Steve Carpenter and wife, Kayla, Scott Carpenter and wife, Shana, Chris Carpenter and wife, Robin; father and mother-in-law, Roy Neal and wife, Joveda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Juanita Carpenter.
The family received friends from 9 a.m. until time of the service at 11 a.m. Monday, Apr. 3, at Trinity Baptist Church, located at 505 N Beglis Pkwy., Sulphur. Pastor Lamar Huffman officiated.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
