DeQuincy vs. South Beauregard

South Beauregard Lady K’s runs away with early lead in victory.

DeQuincy watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 8-2 loss to South Beauregard on Wednesday. South Beauregard scored on a single by Rylee Henson in the first inning, a single by Emma Huber in the second inning, a double by Joslynn Deal in the second inning, a single by Henson in the second inning, a error in the second inning, and a single by Aubrianne Redditt in the second inning.
DeQuincy struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing South Beauregard giving up eight runs.

South Beauregard got things started in the first inning when Henson singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

South Beauregard scored five runs in the second inning. South Beauregard big inning was driven by singles by Huber, Henson, and Redditt, an error on a ball put in play by Hannah Hayes, and a double by Deal.

Alyssa Cloessner earned the win for South Beauregard Cloessner went seven innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out seven.

Gabby Lafferty took the loss for DeQuincy. Lafferty allowed ten hits and eight runs over seven innings, striking out four.

Zoe Langley and Emily Cooley each managed a hit to lead DeQuincy.

South Beauregard saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Maggie Bowman and Henson both managed multiple hits for South Beauregard.

DeQuincy vs. Vinton

Pitching by Gabby Lafferty shuts out Vinton as the DeQuincy Lady Tigers takes the win.

Gabby Lafferty shut down Vinton throwing a complete game shutout and leading DeQuincy to a 13-0 victory on Friday.

Baileigh Kellogg led DeQuincy to victory by driving in five runs. Kellogg went 2-for-3 at the plate. Kellogg drove in runs on a double in the second and a double in the sixth.

DeQuincy opened up scoring in the second inning. DeQuincy scored two runs when Kellogg doubled.

DeQuincy notched six runs in the sixth inning. Kamryn Mitchell, Adah Doucet, Kellogg, and Emily Cooley all drove in runs in the frame.

One bright spot for Vinton was a triple by J. Gary in the first inning.

Lafferty got the win for DeQuincy. The righthander went six innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out ten and walking one.

J. O’Conner took the loss for Vinton. O’Conner allowed five hits and 13 runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight.

Kellogg led DeQuincy with two hits in three at bats. DeQuincy was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Doucet had the most chances in the field with ten.

DeQuincy vs. St. Louis

DeQuincy claims lead in fifth inning to defeat the St. Louis Saints.

DeQuincy took the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over St. Louis on Saturday. The game was tied at four with DeQuincy batting in the bottom of the fifth when Hannah Mire tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

St. Louis scored three runs in the third inning, but DeQuincy still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for St. Louis came thanks to a groundout by Aila Brassieur, an error on a ball put in play by Claire Mellard, and a double by Mia Leger.

DeQuincy captured the lead in the second inning. DeQuincy scored two runs when Baileigh Kellogg singled.

DeQuincy knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fourth inning. Adah Doucet tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Miley Moore was in the pitcher’s circle for DeQuincy. The righthander allowed six hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out four.

Mellard was on the rubber for St. Louis. The pitcher went six innings, allowing six runs on nine hits, striking out seven and walking one.

DeQuincy collected nine hits on the day. Emily Cooley, Kamryn Mitchell, and Mire each collected two hits each for DeQuincy.

DeQuincy vs. Jennings

DeQuincy was defeated by Jennings Bulldogs.

In the first inning, DeQuincy got their offense started when Gabby Lafferty grounded out, scoring one run.

Jennings pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Emma Kate Mack singled on a 3-1 count, scoring two runs, Kylie Price doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, and Karmen Bradley singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Lafferty started the game for DeQuincy. The righthander surrendered five runs on nine hits over seven innings, striking out ten and walking zero.

DeQuincy totaled seven hits. Adah Doucet and Hannah Mire each had two hits for DeQuincy.

DeQuincy vs. Notre Dame

DeQuincy falls to Notre Dame in low-scoring affair.

Both teams were strong in the circle on Tuesday, but Notre Dame was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over DeQuincy on Tuesday. Gabby Lafferty started the game for DeQuincy and recorded 21 outs.

Lafferty toed the rubber for DeQuincy. The pitcher allowed eight hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking zero.

DeQuincy tallied one home run on the day. Lafferty went for the long ball in the seventh inning.

Lafferty went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits.

DeQuincy vs. Lake Arthur

Gabby Lafferty of DeQuincy shuts out Lake Arthur.

Gabby Lafferty threw a gem on Thursday for DeQuincy allowing zero runs and besting Lake Arthur by a score of 10-0.

DeQuincy secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fourth inning. Emily Cooley, Hannah Mire, Kamryn Mitchell, Zoe Langley, Lafferty, and Cooley each had RBIs in the frame.

In the first inning, DeQuincy got their offense started when Katie Willis drew a walk, scoring one run.
DeQuincy put up eight runs in the fourth inning. DeQuincy batters contributing to the big inning included Cooley, Mire, Mitchell, Langley, Lafferty, and Cooley, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Lafferty was the winning pitcher for DeQuincy. Lafferty allowed one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11.

DeQuincy racked up 14 hits in the game. Adah Doucet, Ashlyn Bullitt, Cooley, and Lafferty all had multiple hits for DeQuincy. The Lady Tigers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Doucet had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
