Singer vs. East Beauregard

The Singer Lady Hornets stayed in it until the end, but East Beauregard High School pulled away late in an 18-8 victory on Monday.

Despite the loss, Singer did collect four hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, East Beauregard High School had nine hits on the way to victory.

Singer put up three runs in the second inning. Singer put the pressure on, lead by a triple by Samantha Slaydon and a single by Alden Hardwick.

Eaves was in the pitcher’s circle for Singer. The righthander allowed seven hits and 12 runs over six innings, striking out five.

Hardwick, Slaydon, Brandi Ader, and Hayley Johnson each managed one hit apiece to lead Singer.

Singer vs. Reeves

Singer had trouble keeping up with the Reeves Raiders in a 15-5 loss on Tuesday.

Singer got on the board in the first inning on a wild pitch.

Reeves High School pulled away for good with eight runs in the second inning.

Arguello was in the pitcher’s circle for Singer. The pitcher surrendered 12 runs on 12 hits over three innings, striking out two. Jada Eaves threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Maddi Harrison led Singer with two hits in two at bats.

Reeves stole 8 bases in the contest.

Singer vs. Reeves

Singer runs off with the lead late in the game in a 17-13 victory over Reeves High School on Wednesday.

The game was tied at 12 with Singer batting in the top of the sixth when Brandi Ader singled on the first pitch of the at bat scoring one run.

Samantha Slaydon led Singer Lady Hornets to victory by driving in five runs. Slaydon went 3-for-6 at the plate. Slaydon drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the fifth, and a single in the sixth.

Singer scored four runs in the fifth inning. Slaydon and Ader powered the big inning with RBIs.

Jada Eaves pitched Singer to victory. Eaves allowed ten hits and 13 runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

Singer tallied 16 hits on the day. Ader, Maddi Harrison, Slaydon, Eaves, and Adley Hardwick each had multiple hits for Singer Lady Hornets. Ader led Singer Lady Hornets with four hits in six at bats. Hayley Johnson led Singer Lady Hornets with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with nine stolen bases.
