DeQuincy vs. Leesville

Emily Cooley seals the deal in DeQuincy Lady Tigers victory over Leesville Lady Cats.

Emily Cooley was bad news for opposing pitchers on Tuesday, driving in four on two hits to lead DeQuincy past Leesville Lady Cats 17-2 on Tuesday. Cooley drove in runs on a triple in the first and a stolen base in the second.

DeQuincy got things moving in the first inning, when Hannah Mire drew a walk, scoring one run.

Miley Moore was the winning pitcher for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. The pitcher allowed five hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Cooley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits. Katie Willis led DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity with five stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 12 stolen bases.

DeQuincy vs. Rosepine

DeQuincy Lady Tigers grabs lead in seventh inning for victory over Rosepine.

DeQuincy defeated Rosepine 8-6 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. DeQuincy was down 4-3 in the top of the seventh inning when Hannah Mire homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. DeQuincy collected six hits and Rosepine had nine.

Gabby Lafferty led the DeQuincy Lady Tigers to victory in the circle. The righthander surrendered six runs on nine hits over seven innings, striking out eight.

DeQuincy hit one home run on the day. Mire went yard in the seventh inning.

Lafferty, Emily Cooley, Mire, Baileigh Kellogg, Adah Doucet, and Katie Willis each collected one hit for DeQuincy.

DeQuincy vs. Houma

DeQuincy Lady Tigers can’t catch up to Houma Christian High School.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-2 loss to Houma Christian High School on Friday. Houma Christian High School scored on a home run by Hailey Henry, a triple by Jadyn Yesso, and a groundout by Briley Lovell in the second inning.

DeQuincy struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Houma Christian High School, giving up nine runs.

Gabby Lafferty toed the rubber for DeQuincy. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing seven hits and nine runs while striking out two and walking one. Miley Moore threw one inning in relief.

DeQuincy hit one home run on the day. Cheyenne Harrison went yard in the seventh inning.

Katie Willis led DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at bats.

DeQuincy vs. Delcambre

DeQuincy dominates Delcambre 20-0.

Nine different players got hits for DeQuincy. Leading the way with 2 hits each were Kellogg, Doucet, Mire, Cooley and Bullitt.
