Billy Otto Franklin, 75, of DeRidder died Friday, Mar. 3, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Helen “Jan” Franklin of DeRidder; sons, Johnny E. Franklin of DeRidder, Billy J. Franklin and Christie of Sugartown; brothers, Larry Franklin of San Antonio, Texas, Ronald Franklin of Rosepine, and Edward Franklin of Longville; sisters, Sandra Simmons of Sugartown, Mary Worthy of San Antonio, Texas, Patricia Jones of DeRidder, Barbara Hudson of San Antonio, Texas, and Lillie Keeling of Rosepine; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Susan Jeanette Franklin, Jenny Rebecca Franklin; and parents, Jesse and Geneva Franklin.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, Mar. 7, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Brother Clyde Snider officiated. Burial followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.
