Waverly LeBleu

Waverly Clark LeBleu, 80, was born Feb. 17, 1942 and passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023. She enjoyed her word search, cooking, game shows, and the wrestling channel. Her favorite food was mexican and seafood, especially shrimp. Waverly was a faithful member of the East Ridge Baptist Church in Lake Charles. She loved reading her Bible and being with her family.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Cooper and husband, Brian, Elizabeth “Annie” Williams and husband, Ken, David Clark and wife, Cyndi, Joyce Bennett and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Mandi, David, Ashlea, Allison, Andrew, Paige, Alyssa, Victoria, Dakota, Dusty, and Amy; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leon Clark, Bonnie Henderson and husband, Wade, Lorine Sanders, Harold Clark, Jessie Clark, George Clark and wife, Mary, Lois Tomplit, and Flois Rainwater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde LeBleu; son, Randall LeBleu; and parents, Ivy and Lovey Ann Clark.

The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5 and continued from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Bro. Joe Poole officiated. Interment followed at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.

Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy.
