Kent Alan Welch was born Sept. 11, 1984, and passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023, at the age of 38. Kent loved to be the center of attention and had the biggest smile. When Kent loved you, he loved you hard and he was always full of life.
He is survived by his partner, Jennifer Trahan and children; parents, Eldon “Bubba” Welch and Michelle Moore; siblings, Kristin Horn (Robert Cleghorn), Keivien Welch (Amanda), John Welch (Katherine); stepsiblings, Brittany, Jordan, and Ashley; grandmother, Shelma Trahan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, at First Pentecostal Church in Starks. Visitation will continue from 9 until the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Jan. 27, at First Pentecostal Church. Rev. Karl Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fountain Cemetery in Starks.
