The Alliance/Chamber SWLA representatives George Swift and Eric Cormier met at the Mayor’s Office and presented Mayor Riley Smith a plaque for DeQuincy working hard to bring economic development to our area.
Cormier noted that the city of DeQuincy supported the efforts to bring training to our local businesspeople to help them start up new businesses here in DeQuincy.
Mayor Smith thanked Mr. Swift for the honor and pledged to continue to work with the Alliance/Chamber SWLA.
President of the Chamber of Commerce in DeQuincy Jerry Bell also thanked Swift and Cormier for their help in working to bring economic development to DeQuincy and pledged that the DeQuincy Chamber will continue working closely with them.
