Richard Allen Motte, 61, of DeQuincy, died on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022 at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Sulphur.
He was born in Lake Charles. He was a painter by trade and worked at various dealerships from Lake Charles to California. He eventually worked at Paint and Body Works in DeQuincy for over eleven years.
He is survived by his sister, Yvonne Lognion of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curris and Doris Motte; and his brother.
A Celebration Service was held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home. Bro. Alvin Dale Smith officiated.
