Brandon Kent Brignac, 40, was born Aug. 16, 1982 and passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022. His passion was cooking, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Brandon loved his nephews more than anything and would often play football with them. He always wanted to be surrounded by family and never missed any gathering. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Marie Brignac; father, Ronald Reeves Brignac, II and wife, Sherry; sister, Lindsey Brignac; nephews, Bentley and Gunner; grandparents, Rosie McCraney, Ron and Mary Brignac; aunts, Gladys Cryer and husband, Mike, Kathy Boykin, Deborah Aperfine and husband, Joe, Alisa Klinedinst and husband, David; and Sheila McCraney; uncles, Neil McCraney, III and wife, Racquel, Michael Brignac and wife, Kimberly; along with many more family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis McDaniel; grandparents, Neil McCraney, Jr., Doris Rowland, and Curtis McDaniel; uncle, David Wayne McCraney.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W Fourth Street, DeQuincy. Rev. Greg Cavenah will be officiating. Interment to follow at Bilbo Cemetery, Fields.
