The City of DeQuincy will honor the memory of Harry Truman Methvin with a dedication on Wednesday Nov. 30, at 1 p.m at DeQuincy Pocket Park, corner of Fourth and Pine Sts. There will be a reception to follow at DeQuincy City Hall.
Dedication Ceremony at Town Hall Museum
The DeQuincy Chamber of Commerce will have a dedication ceremony for Methvin on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. at the DeQuincy Town Hall Museum, 318 E. Fourth St. The Newport Industries Display will be dedicated to Methvin and the room named Harry T. Methvin Memorial Room. Refreshments will be served.
