Jolinda Kay “Punkin” Perkins, 33, was born Nov. 23, 1988 and passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. Jolinda had a wild soul and enjoyed picking and teasing, fishing, and spending time at the beach. Most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her children, Wacy Blanchard, Jr., Logan Ray Miles, and Tucker Isaiah Miles; her mother, Belinda Kay Poole and husband, Larry; her father, Joseph Perkins, Sr.; siblings, Joseph Perkins, Jr., Brittany Perkins, and Angie Leger; numerous nieces and nephews; along with her grandmother, Nancy Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon “Bam” Perkins; and her maternal grandparents.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 and continuing from 12-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 with the funeral service starting at 3 p.m. at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Bro. Paul Rose will be officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Annex Cemetery, Starks.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy.
