Leonard “Doug” Dronette was born Nov. 8, 1962, and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, at the age of 59. Doug loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, cooking, riding motorcycles, and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Bridgette Dronette; children, Fallon Metcalf, Cody Dronette, and Ottolie Dronette; grandchildren, Isabelle, Rowan, Lex, Helena, Zada, Xander, and Julian; mother, Ethel Dronette; and brothers, John and Jerry Dronette.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Dronette; and his brother, David Reguina.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. Interment followed at Big Woods Cemetery in Vinton.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. 4th Street, DeQuincy.
