Ashley Marcantel has been named Assistant Principal at Singer High School for the 2022-23 school year.
Marcantel graduated from McNeese with a degree in Health and Human performance in 2016 and began teaching and coaching at Singer High School. In 2018, She went on to earn her Masters in Educational Leadership from Louisiana College. During 2020, she was called into Counseling. She began her degree and worked as a School Counselor at Singer. In 2022, she completed her Masters in school counseling.
She is currently in her 7th year at Singer High School where she has taught middle school five years and coached, worked as the school counselor for one year and is now currently serving as the Assistant Principal.
Marcantel is married to Zach Marcantel and the have two children, Zachary and Aubree. Zachary attends Sowela and is majoring in process technology while Aubree just started Kindergarten at Life Christian Academy in Sulphur.
