Hardback copies of ‘Remembering with Ratliff’ on sale at museum

By Vance Perkins

The DeQuincy Railroad Museum is pleased to announce the arrival of the new Remembering with Ratliff hardback book. It contains the previously published articles of beloved teacher, T. J. Ratliff.

Ratliff taught school in DeQuincy for many years. He wrote a column for The DeQuincy News. Those articles were collected and bound and published in paperback format. Wise Publications has published the new hardback edition. If you like history and want to read about times past in a small town, you will enjoy this book. All proceeds will go to the DeQuincy Railroad Museum.

You may pick up a copy at the Museum during operating hours, which are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The books are $30. If you would like to have one mailed to you or someone else, add $7 for shipping and handling. The phone number is 337-786-2823. You may also go to our Facebook page (DeQuincy Railroad Museum) and order directly off of it.
