Lois Marie Schneider, 76, was born Oct. 10, 1945 and passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022. Lois was full of life and loved her family, especially all her grandchildren. She was hard working and loved to gamble.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Robert Schneider; children, Venita Johnson, and Peggy Martin and husband, Michael, Jr.; step children, Eula Barbas, and Susan Walker; grandchildren, Brittany Johnson, Chelsea Johnson, Alisha Johnson, Hannah Martin, and Michael Martin III; great-grandchildren, Taleigha Johnson, Cha’ssidy Johnson, and Jordyn Johnson; siblings, Rosetta Elliott, Mary Brown, Kitty Blackwell, and Floyd Linscomb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Linscomb; and her siblings, Fred Linscomb, Daniel Linscomb, Gilbert Linscomb, and Sarah Donahoe.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. and the funeral service will start at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. David Free will be officiating. Interment will follow at King Cemetery in Orange, Texas.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
