Kyler Lacy

Kyler Louis Lacy, 19, of College Station, Texas passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022.

He was born to his parents, Michael and Tamara Lacy on Nov. 20, 2002 in Lake Charles.

Kyler loved fishing, hunting, singing, and was an avid guitar player. Kyler enjoyed FFA and Judging contests at Livestock Shows. He was a people person and was loved by all.

He is survived by his parents; brother, Reagan Lacy of Sulphur; grandparents, Louis Rousell and Nora Cooper of Sulphur, and Olin and Beverly Lacy of Longville; along with numerous cousins.

Kyler was preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, Nye Cooper and Trey Lacy; Katie Lacy Grimshaw; and Bettye and John Brown.

A Celebration of Kyler’s life will be held at First Baptist Church in DeQuincy on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m., with Bro. David Earnest and Bro. David Moseley officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, from 5 until 8 p.m.

Visitation will resume at the church on Thursday, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Bivens Cemetery in Bivens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church in DeQuincy.
