Brenda Dougherty, 74, was born Mar. 19, 1948 and passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022.
She is survived by her children, Alma Leubner and husband, Bo, and Debora Bigelow; grandchildren, Kasha VanWinkle and husband, Steven, Kayla Shaheen and husband, Matthew, Ryan Dougherty, Amanda Johnson and husband, Justin, Loren Bigelow, and Alea Bigelow; siblings, Carolyn Martinez, Gloria Tupper, Beverly Doucet, Rocky Dupre, and Scotty Dupre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood Dougherty; parents, Frederick and Alma Dupre; and her sister, Linda Wix.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14. Funeral service started at 10 a.m. Monday Aug. 15. The visitation and funeral service were held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Alvin Dale Smith officiated. Interment followed at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
