On Friday, July 15, Captain Doug Phillips, presented Sgt. Annajo Haynes with a plaque awarding her the second quarter police officer of that quarter. Sgt. Haynes continues to excel in all her police duties to include traffic enforcement, report writing, helping our senior citizens, and conducting investigations.
The DeQuincy Police Dept. Command staff met, and all agreed that Sgt. Haynes deserves this award for her outstanding service to the citizens of our city. This award is granted to a deserving officer once a quarter. Her name will be placed on a plaque which is hung on the wall at the DQPD.
The first award was presented to Dispatcher Dena Guidry.
