Robert Lee Hyatt, Sr., 71, was born June 10, 1951 and passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all being with his family.
He is survived by his children, Monica Dupuy and husband, Clinton, and Todd Hyatt; grandchildren, Cody, Shaylin, Gabby, and Brant; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Vickie Hyatt, Johnny Henry, Belinda Corbin and husband, Ronald; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Doyle and Jennie Showalter; son, Robert Hyatt, Jr.; grandson, Destin Lairsey; and siblings, Peggy Gibson and Pinot Doyle.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday, July 21. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Visitation and funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church in Starks. Pastor Ron Butler will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
