Carolyn Lynnette Hess, 79, was born June 24, 1943 and passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at her residence in Starks surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survived by her lifetime partner of 50 years, Mike Daniel of Starks; son, Michael Hess of Hawaii; grandsons, Keith Hess and wife, KuLania, Brandan Yuta Hess; great-granddaughter, Madison Jones; brothers, Jim Ellis and wife, Cindy of Amarillo, Texas and Buddy Ellis and wife, Sharon of Bridge City, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Belle Ellis; and daughter, Rhonda Hess.
The family would like give a special thank you to Sondra Mitchell, Vickie Kowarsh, and Heart of Hospice for the care that was given.
There will be a private inurnment at Miller Cemetery in Starks. It was Carolyn’s wish to be buried between her mother and daughter.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
