TJ Hollie, 81, was born Jan. 14, 1941 and passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
He is survived by his children, Troy Hebert, Annette Hollie, Sherell Hollie Chad Hollie and wife, Danna, Brandon Shane Hollie, Jessica Hollie, Greg Trahan and wife, Tressa, Kurt Trahan and wife, Mari, Hollie Richard and husband, Brian, and Monica Blaine; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Hollie and wife, Janie, Henry Hollie and wife, Belinda, and Gary Hollie; and his sister, Henrietta Foster.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann Hollie; his son, Jason Trahan; his brothers, Alton Hollie, Danny Hollie, Ralph Hollie, Larry Hollie, Harland Hollie; his sister, Betty Ledford; and his parents, Henry “Coot” and Naomi Smith Hollie.
The family received friends from 7 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Rev. Carlton Jackson, Jr. and Rev. Terry Lee officiated. Interment followed at Hyatt Cemetery in Fields.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
