Blane Gauthier

“Of all our gifts to God in life, none so precious as to put our life into God’s hands as we die.”

Blane Gauthier was born Aug. 5, 1968 and passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 at his residence in Sulphur.

He is survived by his sons, Conner Beau Gauthier and Cutter Brooks Gauthier; Dana Conner Gauthier, a husband’s best friend; sister, Anna Gauthier Lueck; best bud, Kirk Daigle; along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends, all a family of one, loved and cherished.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Gauthier; mother, Tracy Gauthier Thibodeaux; step father, Charles Eugene Thibodeaux; brother-in-law, Daniel John Lueck; and father-in-law, Terry Lee Conner.

The family will receive friends 9-10 a.m. Friday, July 1, and a Rosary will be held at 10 a.m. with the funeral to begin at 11 a.m. The visitation, Rosary and funeral service will be held at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.

“God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning or sadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.” Rev. 21:4.

May perpetual light shine upon our brother, Blane Gauthier.

Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
