Margie Ruth McKelvey, 87, was born July 6, 1934, and passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Moore and wife, Debbie, and Jackie Moore and wife, Jill; stepdaughter, Janice Williams and husband, James; grandchildren, Travis, Cassy, Sam, Josh, Mason, Camdyn, Kyle, Aaron, and Brittany; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Wanda Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Jack Moore; her second husband, Charles McKelvey; her daughter, Debbie Howes and husband, Johnny; one brother; and three sisters.
The family received friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at DeQuincy Church of Christ, located at 225 Hall St., DeQuincy. Mr. Ray Hyatt and Mr. Al Woodard officiated. Interment followed at Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
