Starks VFW & Auxiliary place two wreaths at Veterans Memorial

On Sunday, May 29, at 2 p.m., the Starks VFW Post #4759 and Auxiliary gathered to host a Memorial Day Service.

Mary Johnson, Program Chair brought the gathering to order.

Commander Larry Joe Fountain greeted everyone and asked everyone to stand for the Pledge of Alligence.

Carleen Ortolon read the POW/MIA story. Ella Wilson directed everyone’s attention to the items on the POW/MIA Table.

Everyone was invited to gather outside at the Gold Star Mothers Memorial. This memorial was placed in front of the Starks VFW Post #4759.

Hamburgers were served.
