Billy “Jack” Henderson was born June 29, 1952 and passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his residence in DeQuincy at the age of 69.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Doyle Henderson; children, Billy Joe Burgess, Tameca Prados, Travis Henderson and wife, Liz, James “Hammer” Henderson, Maize Chastant and husband, Todd, Jennifer Maiorana and husband, Joseph and Michael Charlet; grandchildren, Damon, Kheira, Lorraine, Abigail, Natalie, Matthew, Nathan and Claire; great-grandson, Desmon; along with seven brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Ann Burgess; his first wife, Deidra Prados Henderson; parents, Bill Henderson and Louise Grimes; and three siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 27, at Jenkin’s Memorial Baptist Church, 111 Oak Drive, St. Martinville.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
