McKyla L. Clark has been selected as the Dr. Charles E. Coney, Sr. Memorial Scholarship recipient for 2022. This scholarship is sponsored by the P. R. D. & G. Alumni Association.
Clark is a candidate to graduate from DeQuincy High School on Friday, May 20. She has been accepted at McNeese State University to study Pre-Pharmacy.
She is the daughter of McKinley and Ta’Nisha Clark, and the granddaughter of Ada and Eric Woods.
Clark is commended for her outstanding academic achievements in spite of being very involved with her church and extra-curricular activities.
