The DeQuincy Library, located at 102 W. Harrison St., will be temporarily closed for renovations starting on Thursday, May 5. Officials anticipate the length of closure to last 6 to 8 weeks with an anticipated reopening on Friday, July 1.
DeQuincy patrons may pick up their holds at Sulphur Regional Library, located at 1160 Cypress St.
Patrons are urged to refer to the Event Calendar on the Calcasieu Parish Public Library website at www.calcasieulibrary.org for information on library services and programs in the DeQuincy area during the temporary closure.
In addition, the Moss Bluff Library, located at 261 Parish Rd., will be closed for renovations on Friday and Saturday, May 6-7. The branch should reopen on Monday, May 9.
