Barbara Hughes Thomason, 86, of Moss Bluff, died Friday, Apr. 29, 2022 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Lake Charles.
She was born in Liberty, Miss. She worked for BellSouth/AT&T as a dispatcher and retired after nearly 40 years of service.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Thomason (Dorothy) of Ragley, Perry Thomason (Karen) of Sulphur, Kerry Thomason (Gwen) of Westlake, and Raymond Thomason (Pam) of Florien; brother, Ed Hughes of Baker; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
Services were held at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake on Monday, May 2. Burial was on Tuesday, May 3 at Alford Cemetery in Kentwood.
