Stephanie Smith was born July 5, 1973, and passed away on Tuesday, Apr. 12, 2022, at the age of 48.
She enjoyed the outdoors playing incrediball, fishing, and crabbing. She loved being with her grandkids and spending time with her best friend, DeDe Kenney.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Comeaux (Shannon) of Lake Charles, Amber Martin of Ragley, Dustin Martin (Taylor) of DeQuincy, and Jordan Martin (Joe) of DeQuincy; grandchildren, Chad, Jacelynn, Averie, Layton, and Avah; and siblings, John Smith, Jr., PeeWee Smith, and Stewart Pitre.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Laune Smith; and her siblings, Harvilla Smith, Steven Pitre, Johnny Pitre, and Joyce Pitre.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, Apr. 19, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Apr. 20, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Sean Chisholm will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
