BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY CITY OF DEQUINCY,
MARCH 9, 2022

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of DeQuincy, La. met in regular session on March 9, 2022 for the following purpose:
Chairman Jerry McCaig called the meeting to order and upon roll call, those present and absent were as follows:
Present: Jerry McCaig, Lynne Treme, Darlene Hooker, Shirley Bagwell, Brenda Vige
Absent: Ira Royer, Carmen Iley
A quorum present, the following business was transacted. The minutes from January 11, 2022 were reviewed. Lynne Treme made a motion to approve the minutes and Darlene Hooker seconded. Motion carried.
The financial reports for December 2021 and January 2022 were presented and discussed. The year-to-date actuals were compared to the year-to-date budget. Darlene Hooker made a motion to approve the financial report as presented and Lynne Treme seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The FYE 9/30/2021 audit report by Mike Estes was presented and discussed. There were no audit findings. Lynne Treme made a motion to accept the audit report as presented and Darlene Hooker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Request for proposals to perform Architectural/Engineering services for the Housing Authority were sent to four Architectural Firms. Only one proposal was received back. Justin Gautreaux with VSG Architects submitted a proposal. After discussion, Darlene Hooker made a motion to accept the proposal as presented from VSG Architects. Lynne Treme seconded the motion. Motion carried. Res # 983
The vacancy report was presented by Brenda Vige.
There being no further business to come before the board, the Chairman thereupon declared meeting adjourned.
