DeQuincy vs. Bell City

DeQuincy Pounds Bell City 19-2. Gavin Gary had the hot hand on Monday, tallying four hits and leading DeQuincy to a 19-2 victory over Bell City. Gary singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, and doubled in the fifth.

DeQuincy fired up the offense in the first inning. Reese Ashworth’s sac fly scored one run for DeQuincy.

DeQuincy put up nine runs in the fifth inning. DeQuincy’s offense in the inning was led by Ashworth, Drew Duhon, Quentin Pharris, Jace Puryear, Gary, and Caden Keel, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Jacob LeBlanc earned the win for DeQuincy. LeBlanc allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Gary threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Cooper Guillotte took the loss for Bell City. The bulldog surrendered 14 runs.

DeQuincy socked one home run on the day. Sammy Maddox went deep in the fifth inning.

Gary went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits. DeQuincy stole 13 bases during the game. Ashworth led the way with three.

DeQuincy vs. Kinder

DeQuincy Defeated By Kinder 7-2. In the first inning, Kinder got their offense started when Reese Ashworth induced Brooks Fawcett to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

In the bottom of the first inning, DeQuincy tied things up at one. Sammy Maddox drove in one when Maddox singled.

Kinder pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Fawcett singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Kobe Burns grounded out, scoring one run, and Mason Tramel grounded out, scoring one run.

Ashworth took the loss for DeQuincy. Ashworth went four innings, allowing six runs on seven hits and striking out four.

Maddox went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits.

DeQuincy vs. Vinton

DeQuincy Beats Vinton 15-3. Vinton scored three runs in the fourth inning, but DeQuincy still won 15-3 on Thursday.

DeQuincy opened up scoring in the first inning, when Sammy Maddox tripled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

DeQuincy tallied seven runs in the seventh inning. Quentin Pharris, Jacob LeBlanc, Gavin Gary, Dalton Davis, Maddox, and Reese Ashworth all drove in runs in the frame.

Maddox was credited with the victory for DeQuincy. The righty allowed six hits and three runs over five innings, striking out five. Drew Duhon and Gary entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

DeQuincy had ten hits in the game. Pharris, Gary, and Duhon each collected two hits to lead DeQuincy.
Duhon led DeQuincy with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
