Singer vs. Fairview

Singer Hornets Hess Throws No-Hitter To Defeat Fairview.

Tate Hess was brilliant on the mound on Tuesday, as Hess threw a no-hitter to lead Singer Hornets past the Fairview Panthers 1-0.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Hess struck out 16, while Strothers sat down 11.

Hess got the start for Singer. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out 16 and walking one.

Singer Hornets slammed one home run on the day. Caston Perkins had that homer in the third inning.

Singer Hornets tallied six hits. Hess and Perkins each collected two hits to lead Singer.

Singer vs. Fairview

A walk-off left Singer Hornets Varsity on the wrong end of an 11-10 defeat to Fairview on Thursday. The game was tied at ten with Fairview batting in the bottom of the seventh.

Despite the loss, Singer did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Fairview had eight hits on the way to victory.

Singer opened up scoring in the second inning when an error scored one run for Singer.

After Singer scored three runs in the top of the fourth, Fairview answered with three of their own. Singer scored when Dylan Conner singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Singer scored six runs in the second inning. Singer’s offense in the inning was led by Blake Cooley, Gavin Wright, Caston Perkins, Tate Hess, and Conner, all coming up with RBIs.

Conner toed the rubber for Singer. The righty allowed three hits and five runs over three innings, striking out three. Perkins threw three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Singer racked up 11 hits in the game. Perkins, Conner, Hess, and Bradon Easley all managed multiple hits for Singer.

Singer vs. Lake Arthur

Singer Hornets Takes Victory Over Lake Arthur, 5-1.

Singer Hornets took home a 5-1 victory over Lake Arthur on Saturday.

Singer put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Singer Hornets Varsity was led by Dylan Conner and Braydon Easley, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Tate Hess was on the mound for Singer. The pitcher went seven innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out 14 and walking one.

Singer smacked one home run on the day. Hess went yard in the third inning.

Singer tallied nine hits on the day. Caston Perkins, Conner, and Hess all managed multiple hits for Singer.
