Raeleigh Granger Drives in Six as DeQuincy Lady Tigers Defeats Vinton.

Raeleigh Granger was bad news for opposing pitchers on Tuesday, driving in six on three hits to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers past Vinton 14-4

Granger drove in runs on a triple in the first and a home run in the fifth.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity took an early lead in the first inning when Katie Willis singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers took the lead for good with one run in the second inning.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers scored five runs in the fifth inning. Laurel Patin, Granger, and Sarah Morvant all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Gabrielle Lafferty was the winning pitcher for Lady Tigers. The righthander went five innings, allowing four runs on ten hits, striking out five and walking one.

The Lady Tigers tallied one home run on the day. Granger had a four bagger in the fifth inning.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Morvant and Granger each had 3 hits Baileigh Kellogg, Adah Doucet, and Willis each had 2 hits for The Lady Tigers The Lady Tigers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Doucet had five chances in the field, the most on the team.

DeQuincy vs. Fairview

Granger Shines at the Plate in DeQuincy Lady Tigers Victory Over Fairview Lady Panthers.

Raeleigh Granger was dialed in at the plate on Friday, tallying four hits and leading DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity to a 16-10 win over Fairview Lady Panthers. Granger doubled in the first, singled in the fourth, tripled in the fifth, and tripled in the sixth.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as DeQuincy collected 23 hits and Fairview Lady Panthers had 12.

DeQuincy fired up the offense in the first inning, when Malee Stanley induced Katie Willis to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

DeQuincy notched five runs in the fourth inning. Gabrielle Lafferty, Hannah Jefferson, and Ashlyn Bullitt each had RBIs in the big inning.

Granger was the winning pitcher for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. The righthander allowed two hits and three runs over one inning, striking out one and walking one.

DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity tallied 23 hits in the game. Lafferty led the Tigers with 5 hits, Granger, Baileigh Kellogg, Adah Doucet, Laurel Patin, Jefferson, Bullitt, and Sarah Morvant all managed multiple hits for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity.

DeQuincy vs. Mamou

In Walk-off, DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity Loses To MHS Green Demons

The DeQuincy Lady Tigers fell to Mamou Green Demons 8-7 on Friday on the final play of the game. MHS Green Demons trailed 7-6 in the bottom of the seventh inning when J Richard doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Despite the loss, DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity did collect nine hits in the high-scoring affair.

Unfortunately, MHS Green Demons had 13 hits on the way to victory.

The DeQuincy Lady Tigers opened up scoring in the second inning when Baileigh Kellogg tripled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

DeQuincy put up three runs in the second inning. Kellogg and Raeleigh Granger each drove in runs during the inning.

Gabrielle Lafferty took the loss for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Lafferty went six and a third innings, allowing eight runs on 13 hits, striking out two and walking zero.

DeQuincy collected nine hits. Kellogg and Adah Doucet both had 2 hits for DeQuincy.

DeQuincy vs. East Beauregard

Four RBI Day for Laurel Patin Seals the Deal in DeQuincy Lady Tigers Victory Over East Beauregard.

Laurel Patin showed timely hitting on Monday, driving in four on three hits to lead DeQuincy Lady Tigers past East Beauregard 18-8 on Monday. Patin drove in runs on a double in the third, a single in the fifth, and a single in the seventh.

There was plenty of action on the basepaths as DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity collected 23 hits.

DeQuincy totaled 23 hits in the game. Gabrielle Lafferty 4 hits led DeQuincy. Baileigh Kellogg, Doucet, Patin, Kamryn Mitchell, Willis, Bailey Mire, and Granger each had 2 hits.

DeQuincy vs. Rosepine

Pitchers Duel In Low-Scoring Affair, DeQuincy Lady Tigers Falls to Rosepine 3-2.

Both teams were strong on the rubber on Thursday, but Rosepine was just a little bit stronger at the plate in victory over DeQuincy Lady Tigers on Thursday. Gabrielle Lafferty started the game for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity and recorded 18 outs.

In the first inning, DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity got their offense started. Baileigh Kellogg lined out, scoring one run.

Lafferty took the loss for DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity. Lafferty surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out two and walking zero.

Adah Doucet led DeQuincy with two hits in four at bats. DeQuincy Lady Tigers Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Kellogg made the most plays with eight.
