DeQuincy vs. Pickering
DeQuincy Lady Tigers defeats Pickering.
A few runs at a time, DeQuincy Lady Tigers built a big lead over Pickering taking home a 7-1 victory.
The Lady Tigers opened up scoring in the second inning. Sarah Morvant drove in two when Morvant singled.
Gabrielle Lafferty took the win for the Lady Tigers. The righty allowed five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four.
The Lady Tigers tallied one home run on the day. Lafferty put one out in the third inning.
The Lady Tigers had ten hits in the game. Raeleigh Granger 3 hits and Katie Willis 2 hits led DeQuincy Lady Tigers at the plate. The team had zero errors on the day
DeQuincy vs. Kinder
Kinder runs away with early lead in victory.
DeQuincy Lady Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-3 loss to Kinder on Thursday.
Gabrielle Lafferty took the loss for the Lady Tigers Varsity. Lafferty surrendered five runs on 11 hits over six innings, striking out one.
The Lady Tigers had seven hits in the game. Adah Doucet, Sarah Morvant, and Hannah Jefferson each had two hits each for the Lady Tigers.
DeQuincy vs. Lake Arthur
DeQuincy Lady Tigers make quick work out of Lake Arthur Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers bats were on fire against Lake Arthur. 17 hits and 18 runs in 2 innings to end the game 18-0 after the top of the 3rd inning.
Raeleigh Granger got the win on the mound allowing no hits and no runs facing 9 batters and allowing only one walk.
Granger hit a grand slam in the bottom of the 1st making it her 4th homer of the season.
Gabby Lafferty hit a 2 run homer in the 2nd to help the Lady Tigers extend the lead.
Granger, Adah Doucet, and Sarah Morvant lead the Lady Tigers in hits all going 3 for 3 at the plate.
The Lady Tigers played sure handed on defense not allowing a single error.
