DeQuincy vs. Many

DeQuincy Goes Down On Final Play Against Many

DeQuincy fell to Many 6-5 on Saturday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at five with Many batting in the bottom of the seventh when Hayden Evans doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

DeQuincy got things moving in the first inning. DeQuincy scored one run when Reese Ashworth singled.

Many scored three runs in the sixth inning. Evans and Cole Sattler powered the big inning with RBIs.

Sammy Maddox took the loss for DeQuincy. Maddox surrendered six runs on eight hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

DeQuincy totaled six hits in the game. Quentin Pharris and Maddox each managed 2 hits to lead the Tigers.

DeQuincy vs. Florien

DeQuincy Claims Victory Over Florien In Blow-Out Fashion, 14-3.

DeQuincy had everything working on Saturday, winning big over Florien 14-3

DeQuincy opened up scoring in the first inning, when Drew Duhon singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

DeQuincy tallied six runs in the fourth inning. Sammy Maddox, Reese Ashworth, Jacob LeBlanc, Matthew VanSlyke, Gavin Gary, and Quentin Pharris powered the big inning with RBIs.

Gary pitched DeQuincy to victory. The righty allowed seven hits and two runs over three innings, striking out four and walking zero. Duhon, LeBlanc, and Carson Rainwater all put in work in relief out of the bullpen.

DeQuincy collected 12 hits on the day. Dalton Davis, Maddox, LeBlanc, and VanSlyke all picked up two hits to lead DeQuincy.

DeQuincy vs. Northwood

Late Score Costs DeQuincy Against Northwood.

Thursday’s game against Northwood was a heartbreaker for DeQuincy, as they lost the lead late in a 7-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Northwood batting in the top of the sixth when Hayden Philliaps singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, DeQuincy tied things up at three.

Reese Ashworth took the loss for DeQuincy. The righthander allowed six hits and six runs over five and a third innings, striking out eight and walking zero.

Dalton Davis went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead DeQuincy in hits.
