Richard “Rick” Monic was born Feb. 21, 1956 and passed away Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2022 at the age of 66.
He is survived by his children, Bridgett Ardoin and husband, Derrick, Kristopher Monic and Kenneth Monic and girlfriend, Staci Wiley; five grandchildren, Dwayne Weaver, Elliot Slaten, Gracie Monic, Alec Ardoin, Aubrie Ardoin and Izabella Wiley; sister, Sharlene Monic; and brother, Tony Monic and wife, Annette; and his bestfriend, Galen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Joseph Monic and Jane Marie Choate Monic.
A Celebration of Life was held from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 8, at Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home in DeQuincy.
Arrangements were handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
