Leatrice “Joy” Maddox, 96, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Westlake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Maddox; and daughter, Susan Joy Farque.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lea Davis with husband Ben, and Sandra Maddox all of Moss Bluff; and son, Steve Maddox with wife Janna of Kerens, Texas; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Tyson of Port Arthur, Texas, Joan Romero of Starks and Joyce Smith of Vidor, Texas.
A Celebration of Life Service led by Jody Barrilleaux was held on Monday, Feb. 28, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery of Westlake.
