Lacy Allen “Sonny” Shreeve, 96, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at a local care facility. He was born in Goodlettsville, Tenn.
He served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was a member of the VFW post 4759 of Starks.
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie Jackson (Pat); sons, Randall Vincent, and Lacy A. Shreeve (Kristina); brothers, Jayner Moore, and Buddy Shreeve; sister, Bettye Collins; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta B. Shreeve; daughter, Carla Jo Broussard; parents, Lacy A. Shreeve Sr. and Vera C. Shreeve; two brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at First Baptist Church in Starks.
