Joyce Ann Borne, 89, died at her home in Larose on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022. She was born in New Orleans and lived in DeQuincy for a few years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Borne Jr. and Elsie Borne Sivori; son, Wayne Joseph Billiot; two sisters; and one grandson.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah A. Davis (Wayne), Sheryl Nemeth, Donna Sciortino (Joe) and Julie Billiot; sons, Chris Billiot (Melanie), Brian Billiot (Paula), Bruce Billiot (Cathy) and Richard Billiot (Kellie); 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
During the course of raising her children, she relocated the family to Illinois, where she attended Illinois College and achieved her Degree in Education. She moved back to New Orleans in 1977.
The Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans on Friday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until Mass. Interment will follow in St. Vincent de Paul No. 1 Cemetery in New Orleans.
