Kenneth “Pete” Edward Hudson Jr., 70, of Vinton died on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021.
He was born in Orange, Texas. He was a native and lifelong resident of Vinton. He was a 1969 graduate of Starks High School and later attended Sowela Technical School for welding and diesel mechanics. He worked as an owner/operator of a crude oil tanker and was leased out to Endeavor Tank.
He was survived by his wife, Monnie “Fay” Horn Hudson of Vinton; son, Kenneth “K. B.” Hudson (Katelyn) of Vinton; daughter, Shawna Daley of Ft. Worth, Texas, three grandchildren; brothers, Robert “Poss” Hudson and Broderick Blake “Pierre” Hudson, both of Vinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Sr. and Agnes Poole Hudson.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 29, at Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Burial followed in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
