Paul Rayland Bourque, Sr., 76, died Friday, July 23, 2021, at his Starks home.
He was a 1962 graduate of Marion High School. He worked as a lineman for Gulf States Utilities and retired after 35 years of service. Paul was also a member of IBEW Local 2286 for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Clark “Sissy” Bourque; three children, Paula K. Thomson and husband, David of Pearland, Texas, Paul Bourque, Jr., and wife Jenny of Starks, and Joshua A. Bourque and wife Kasondra of Orange, Texas; five grandchildren; four step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; brother, A. J. Bourque, Jr. and wife Maryann of Lake Charles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Avie and Evelia Bourque.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday.
