According to Chief Johnny Copeland, the DeQuincy Fire Department has an urgent need for volunteer firemen. If anyone is interesting in becoming a volunteer fireman, come any Tuesday night at 6 p.m. to the Fire Department and get an application. Training is for two hours every Tuesday night and those who volunteer must be dedicated to come to the training.
If you are really interested, will attend the training, and not mind getting up an out of bed at 2 a.m., then DeQuincy needs you. The Fire Department needs more firemen, and this will be a good way to help your city as a volunteer fireman.
