DeQuincy High
DeQuincy High School registration dates for new students will be held on August 5-6 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.
The following documentation must be brought when you register your child:
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Immunization record
- Photo identification of student’s parent or guardian
- Address verification, including an electric bill and another utility bill showing the household’s street address
- Custody papers, if applicable
- Report card or transcript from previous school

Orientation
DeQuincy High School will hold orientation in the school auditorium according to the following schedule:
Seniors, Friday, Aug. 6, 9:30 a.m.; Freshmen, Friday, Aug. 6, 12:30 p.m.
Juniors and Sophomores, Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1:30 p.m.
Student fees of $30 per student may be paid online by visiting the DHS website or at registration by cash or check.
Students who ordered shirts by the July 12 deadline will be able to pick them up at orientation. School shirts will not be sold at registration but may be ordered online.
Student parking tags will be available to purchase in the front office during the first week of school for a $10 fee after paying school fees. Please bring fee receipt and student’s valid driver’s license.
Students will be able to order a 2021-22 yearbook at orientation for $40.

DeQuincy Middle
New student registration for students who will be new to DeQuincy Middle School begins Mondyay, Aug. 2, and continues through Friday, Aug. 6 from 8:30 a.m.-12 noon.
You must have a copy of the child’s birth certificate, social security card and shot records. You will also need to supply two proofs of address (an electric bill and another bill). Bring a copy of your child’s last report card.
There will be an orientation for all 6th grade students and their parents on Monday, Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. Students will meet the teachers, get their schedules, drop off supplies, pay fees and learn the DMS Expectations.
Orientation for 7th and 8th grade students and their parents will by on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 6 p.m. Both orientations will be held in the gym.

DeQuincy Elementary
DeQuincy Elementary 3rd Grade Orientation and Meet the Teacher for 4th and 5th Grade will be held Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 1:30-3 p.m.
Third grade orientation will be held in the elementary cafeteria.
Students will be able to tour the school and can bring supplies in at that time. Face masks will be required.
Rosters will be posted Monday, Aug. 9, by noon on the Cafeteria doors.
New student registration will be held Thursday and Friday, Aug. 5-6, and Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 9-10, from 9-11 a.m.
DeQuincy Primary
New student registration at DeQuincy Primary will be held Monday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
A list of items to bring with you include a birth certificate, shot record, Social Security card, proof of address, and parent ID. If there are any questions about documents needed, you may call the office at 337-217-4650.
Meet the Teacher will be held on Thursday, Aug. 12. Times and details for are being finalized. Details will be posted on the school’s Facebook page and school website.
