David Wayne Rivas, 66 was born in San Antonio, Texas and passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his residence in Lake Charles. David proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the United States Army 82nd Airborne.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ann Rivas; and stepchildren, Jason Haley and wife Kemberly and Leslie Crabb and husband, Benjamin.
Cremation has been entrusted to Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 W. Fourth St., DeQuincy.
